Lanta Sand Resort & Spa

Koh Lanta Yai is the first place to access from Krabi by ferry. The island is quite long with over 20 kilometres. The west cost of the island has 6 different beaches from the North to the South. Ko Lanta is a quite un-commercial island with a slow and relaxed pace. It has many great beaches, stunning sunsets, fair prices and best snorkelling near by. The ferry, minivan and bus service will dock at Saladan Pier in the North of the island. It used to be the center of Koh Lanta where you can find a variety of shops and all kind of services.

Lanta Sand Resort and Spa is located on the west coast of Koh Lanta Island and is part of Krabi Province. It is surrounded by natural gardens and beaches of the Andaman Sea and is located approx 62 km south of Krabi city.

Krabi is an 80 minutes flight away from Bangkok. The transfer from Krabi airport by van (crossing by car-ferry) takes approx 2 hours to Lanta Sand Koh Lanta. The second nearest airport is Trang 90 minutes by air from Bangkok . The transfer time from Trang airport to Lanta Sand Resort and Spa by van takes a little over 2 hours. It takes approx 4 hours to travel from Phuket airport to Lanta Sand Resort & Spa by van.

Lanta Sand Thailand is a tropical paradise of relaxing gardens, surrounded by coconut trees, a lotus lagoon, crystal clear waters and white sand beaches. Lanta Sand Resort and Spa consists of 48 traditional northern mix classical style buildings and bungalows. All rooms are beautifully furnished with excellent facilities including a a private terrace and a modern garden bathroom.

Lanta Sand Koh Lanta comprises of 48 rooms built in 3 different villa styles. There are 12 Superior Villas with bathtub, 34 Deluxe Villas with garden bath-room and 2 Deluxe Beachfront Villas with garden bath-room and located on the beach front. All include air-conditioning, cold and warm water shower, refrigerator, television and twin or double beds.

The Leelavadee Spa of Lanta Sand Resort & Spa features a variety of nourishing treatments and a wide range of massage techniques, body scrubs, body wraps, facials as well as herbal steam bath; manicures and pedicures are also on offer.

Other resort facilities include a free-form swimmingpool with Jacuzzi, our beach-front restaurant, TV room with satellite system, facsimile and E-mail services and souvenirs shop. Ko Lanta Sand Resort is ideally located as a base for diving and snorkelling excursions to the neighbouring islands of Koh Rok, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Ha, Hin Daeng, Hin Muang, Koh Ngai, Koh Mook, Koh Chueak and Ko Kradan. All these excursion can be booked at the tours and activities counter of Lanta Sand Koh Lanta. Other excursions available include elephant trekking, 4 island tour, sea kayaking.
